They are compound movements so you are using almost all of the muscles in your body which is great for fat burning and toning the body. Key Exercise # 1 – Barbell Squat
The barbell squat is one of the best functional exercises as it incorporates virtually every muscle in the body. The squat can improve lower body strength, burn fat, improve flexibility, core stability and build lean muscle mass making it a must for anyone wanting to improve their fitness.
Key Exercise # 2 – Barbell Deadlift
The barbell deadlift is a great exercise as it also incorporates virtually every muscle in the body. Not only that but it is a great functional lift, simulating picking up objects in everyday life. Because of this it requires and burns a lot of energy, fast tracking your progress in the gym.
